Albert Alexander McGirt, 85, retired farmer and pioneer resident of Dade county, died yesterday in a Miami hospital after a brief illness. Mr. McGirt, who came to Miami 40 years ago from Little Rock. S. C., resided at 261 S. W. First street. He leaves the widow, Mrs. Sallie Jenkins McGirt; two daughters, Mrs. Maud S. La Salle and Miss Mable McGirt, all of Miami. Funeral services were conducted yesterday afternoon in the Joseph P. McGhan Funeral Home and burial was in Woodlawn Park cemetery.
