Ronald Ray "Griz" Estrada, 51 died Friday November 19, 2010 at his home. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday November 24, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Dave Rykwalder as celebrant. Inurnment will follow at the Bayard Cemetery. Vigil services will be held on Tuesday November 23rd at 7:00 p.m. at the church. Casual attire is requested, especially Bayard Tiger; Husker and Bronco shirts. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Ron was born April 15, 1959 in Omaha to Juan and Angelina (Sanchez) Estrada. He graduated from Bayard High School in 1979, then attended Nebraska Western College Sidney Campus. Ron enjoyed sports, he attended all the Bayard area activities. He enjoyed the Husker's and the Denver Broncos. Ron enjoyed Texas Hold-em. His family was a big part of his life.
He is survived by his mother Angie Estrada of Bayard; siblings and their spouses Juan (Lorrie) Estrada of Joplin, MO; JoAnn Estrada of Colorado Springs, Colo.; Veronica (Lewis) Byrne of Papillion and Gil (Sabrina) Trimble of Newport, North Carolina. Nephews and nieces Anthony and Emillio Estrada; Cara Sinks; Mark Trimble Jr.; Felicia, Patrick, John and Ryan Byrne as well as great-nieces Taryn and Ryleah Sinks and great-nephew Gil Trimble Jr. His beloved buddy "Baxter"
