EAST PROVIDENCE --- Marguerite F. Johnson, 89, of 73 Interlocken Rd., a housemother at Bryant College in late 1950s, died yesterday at the Jane Brown unit of Rhode Island Hospital. She was the widow of Walter G. Johnson.
Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Thomas R. and Mary (Siggins) Percival.
Mrs. Johnson was a member of Naomi Lodge, Order of the Eastern Star.
She leaves a daughter, Beverly Silva of East Providence, with whom she lived; a son, Walter G. Johnson of Warwick; five grandsons and two great-granddaughters.
A funeral service will be held Monday at noon at Swan Point Cemetery Chapel, Blackstone Boulevard, Providence. Burial will be in Elm Grove Cemetery, North Kingstown.
