Services for Aubrey Patterson, 43 year old Tupelo automobile mechanic, were held May 8, 1949 in the Tupelo First Presbyterian Church with burial in Glenwood Cemetery with Spain Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Patterson died May 7 at his home on North Green Street in Tupelo following an extended illness. He was a native of the Evergreen Community in Itawamba County. He was a member of the New Bethel Presbyterian Church at Evergreen.

He leaves his wife, Mrs. Aurella Conwill Patterson; a daughter, Miss Sybil Patterson, both of Tupelo; a son, Ershelle Patterson of Birmingham Ridge Community; three sisters, Mrs. S. P. Turman of Tupelo, Mrs. H. T. Armstrong and Miss Irma Patterson, both of Evergreen; three brothers, J. C. and C. E. Patterson of Evergreen, L. N. Patterson of Birmingham, Ala.; and a grandson, Robert Ershele Patterson.

Pallbearers were H. T. Armstrong, S. P. Turman, Douglas Conwill, Levis Conwill, Bill Diliard and R. L. Pannell.
