Mrs. Louise Marie Davis, of 324 Mitchell Street, passed away in her sleep at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Roy Adams, in Dearborn, Saturday morning.
Mrs. Davis was born July 9, 1874 in Marshall, and had always lived here, where she was a member of the Zion Evangelical Lutheran church. Her husband Mart H. Davis, died Dec. 22, 1918.
Besides Mrs. Adams, three other daughters survive her, these being Mrs. Lester Blackburn of Evanston, Ill., Mrs. L.R. Schrodes of Detroit, and Mrs. A.C. Rose of Mt. Clemens. She also leaves four sons, Claude and Mart Davis of Marshall, Sgt. Bernard Davis now with the nation's armed forces in Iceland, and Norman Davis of Detroit; there are in addition several grandchildren, one brother, Wm. Vogt of Marshall, and several nieces and nephews.
The remains arrived here from Dearborn last night, and were taken to the Court Funeral Home where friends may call. Funeral services will be held in the Lutheran church at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow, the Rev. Chr. Heidenreich to officiate. Interment will be in the family plot in Oakridge Cemetery.
