Arthur Pinkney Petree, 80, died in Memphis April 18 after an illness of two weeks.
Services were held April 20 at the Belgreen Church of Christ, of which he was a member, with Hershel Patton officiating. Burial followed in the Belgreen Cemetery. Spry Funeral Home was in charge.
Mr. Petree leaves his wife, Mrs Almeda Petree, Pleasant Site; four sons, Clyde Petree, Belgreen; Ernie and Ben Petree, Covington, Tenn; and Beltoln Petree, Memphis; three daughters, Mrs Susie Burns and Mrs. Pearl Dempsey, Memphis, and Mrs Betty Ruth
Thorn, Sheffield; two sisters, Mrs Mary Lou Sanderson, Florida, and Mrs Pearl Smith k Haleyville. His grandsons served as pallbearers.
Mr. Petree was a retired merchant and had lived in Franklin County all his life.
