BEL AIR, Md. — John Joseph Morton II, 90, of Drakes Island, died Monday, March 29, 2010, at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, Bel Air, Md.
He was born Nov. 22, 1919, in Keene, N.H., to the late George and Hazel Morton. John served as an air navigator in the U.S. Navy during World War II, where he attained the rank of lieutenant.
Calling hours were held April 30 at Bibber Memorial Chapel, 111 Chapel Road, Wells. A graveside service was held May 1 in Ocean View Cemetery, Wells.
