NICHOLSON, Charles Nelson, 86, of Blue Ridge, passed away Sunday, November 24, 2002. He was the son of the late Benjamin and Mamie Nicholson. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Navy. He is preceded in death by his dog, Jake, his faithful companion of 14 years. Survivors include his beloved wife of 58 years, Helen Louise Nicholson; his daughter, Trina Elizabeth Oliver and husband, William James Oliver; a brother, Early Nicholson of Nokesville, Va.; and a sister, Della Embrey of Catlett, Va. His talented hands and open and generous heart will be missed by all who knew him.
