Obituary:
Graveside services for Evelyn Boren Ezell, 87, of Cadiz, were held Sunday, November 21, 2010 at Trigg Memory Acres. The Rev. Roy Marquess, Jr. officated. Goodwin Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Ezell died of natural causes at 2:45 p.m. Thursday, November 18, 2010 at Trigg County Hospital.
She was born November 24, 1922 in Trigg County to the late George Monroe and Carrie Porter Boren.
She was of the Baptist faith and was a retired seamstress from Elk Brand Manufacturing.
She was preceded in death by her husband Thirl Glenn "Nook" Ezell; one brother, Homer Boren; four sisters; Ina Sowell, Ida Simpson, Ora Simpson, Betty Dale; and one grandchild, Charlie Taylor.
Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Taylor (and husband Ray) of Cadiz, and Sonja Allsup of Grants Pass, Ore; and four grandchildren, Brian Taylor, Gloria Lewis, Michelle Allsup and David Allsup.
