Delta- Mrs. Emma Singleton, wife of William H. Singleton, died at 7 o'clock yesterday morning at her home, Delta R.D. Death was caused by a complicatoin of diseases following and illness of a year. She was 77 years old. Surviving besides her husband are three sons, Russell and Howard, this place, and Paul C., Havre de Grace, Md.; 15 grandchildren, six great grandchildren, a sister, Mrs. Fred Cooper, Whiteford, and a brother, Foulk Guyton, this place. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Hubert P Harkins funeral home. Rev. B. W. Jones, pastor of Slateville Presbyterian church, will officiate. Interment will be made in Mt. Nebo cemetery.
