Born and reared in Winnfield, Mr. Price joined the Navy at an early age and received his high school diploma from the Navy. He was Field Superintendent for Haliburton Cementing Company and a member of a Baptist church in Laurel.
Surviving are his wife, the former Bennie Stewart of the Hudson Community, and two sons, Michael and Perry, all of Laurel; his mother, Mrs. C. H. Price, Sr., of Winnfield; one sister, Marlene VanDewerker of Spokane, Washington; one brother, Jerry D. Price of Castor, La.
