"Ada Mae Smith, 84, of Westwood, KS, passed away Monday, November 22, 2010, at St Luke's Hospital. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, November 30, at the Amos Family Chapel of Shawnee. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery.
Mae was born February 24, 1926, to the late Alf and Jennie (Rand) Blair in Elizabeth, AR. Mae married Otho Smith on December 3, 1941. He preceded her in death after 59 years of marriage. She enjoyed gardening and growing her own flowers. As a pastor's wife, she was always willing to lend a hand wherever the church needed her.
Mae is survived by three sons, Carroll Smith (LaRue), Larry W. Smith and Ronnie Smith (Pam); a daughter, Patricia Stuart (Darren); five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren." The Kansas City Star, November 28, 2010
