Funeral Services Held For A.J. Clendennen
A.J. Clendennen passed away at his home on Thursday, December 13. Funeral services were held at the residence Saturday December 15 at 3:00 p. m. with Rev.C.K. Bullock officiating. Burial was in Hopewell Cemetery. Pallbearers: Herman Clendennen, J. G. Clendennen, John Clendennen, Newt Dryman, Newell Crawford Elmer Newton. Davis Cozart was in charge of the funeral services.
Mr. Clendennen was born in Milano, Texas, July 1, 1886 and was 59 years, 5 months and 12 days old at the time of his passing. He was married to Miss Buluh Wall of Limestone County in 1912. To this union was born one daughter and three sons follows. Mrs. Opal Crawford of Houston: A. J. Clendennen Jr. ; Hillsboro Texas: Alton Clendennen of Houston, George Clendennen, ( in the service of his country , but now in the way home on furlough.
There are four grandchildren, three boys and one girl and two sisters living in Houston.
Brother Clendennen united with the First Baptist Church before he was grown and lived a Christian life throughout the years. He came to this community about two years ago.
