Connie was born August 2, 1942 in Provo, the daughter of Austin M. and Edith Williams Chiles. She was the second of five children.
Connie married Cecil Robert "Bob" Brown May 30, 1959 in Provo. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple. Connie grew up in Provo and graduated from Provo High. She was a faithful member of the LDS Church and served as a Primary teacher for 19 years and in the Stake Young Women's presidency for five years. Connie's happiest moments were spending several hours a week hiking in the foothills and mountains above her home in Pleasant Grove. She cherished her time with her grandchildren along with her two dogs, Bug and Edi, who were her constant companions. Connie will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband, Bob; four children, Michelle (Layne) Butt, Cecil R. Brown Jr., Bart (Thed-ra) Brown, and Samantha Brown all of Las Vegas; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Austin M. Chiles Jr; and sister, Cheri (Kent) Wiggins. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters, Sondra Chiles Crowton, and Elizabeth Ann Chiles
