Mrs. Bowman was born and reared in the vicinity of Timberville. Her parents were Abram and Anna Arehart. Surviving her are three sons and four daughters - Charles D. Bowman, of Timberville; Dr. I. M. Bowman, of Massilon, Ohio; Floyd M. Bowman, of Timberville; Mrs. D. N. Beam, of Baltimore; Mrs. Anna C. Shurtters, of Timiberville; Misses Nettle and Cora Bowman, at home. A daughter, Constance L. Bowman, died four years ago. Of her eleven grandchildren eight survive.
For fifty-two years Mrs. Bowman had been a member of Raders Lutheran Church. She was an estimable Christian woman with many warm friends.
The funeral will be conducted this morning from Raders Church by Rev. W. J. Fincke, of New Market. The procession will leave the home at 10 o'clock. The pallbearers will be John H. Hoover, J. A. Garber, Samuel Pence, John A. Zigler, B. F. Zirkle, R. L. Mlllor, John W. H. Showalter and F. A. Shank.
