This family must have had a really tough and hard life. Nellie's parents died during the depression and neither one of them have a headstone. One of their sons, Joe Berry died at age 41 and left a wife with five children. Joe Berry and Lillie V Bruce Epperson also lost a baby son. Lillie moved in with Thomas A. & Margaret Robinson Epperson and they helped her raise the children. Nellie was admitted to Central State Hospital around 1901. Nellie died at the hospital in 1959. Thomas A & Margaret's daughter, Martha Zona Epperson Westbrook along with two of her daughters were riding in an auto and was hit by a train in Canton, Georgia and killed in 1919.
