MOUNT AIRY - Mrs. Virginia Bell Collins Love, age 95, of 4242 Westfield Road, Mt. Airy, NC, widow of Mr. Bernie C. Love, passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at Central Continuing Care. She was born October 27, 1915 in Surry County, NC to the late Robert Sanford and Rose Ella Wood Collins. She was a member of Indian Grove Baptist Church and was a homemaker. Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law: Geraldine Inman, Mt. Airy, Alice and R.W. Goins, Westfield; a son and daughter-in-law, Rev. Keith and Volenda C. Love, Mt. Airy; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two great great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents; Mrs. Love was preceded in death by three sisters, Ruth Barnard, Eunice Arrington and Thelma Beasley. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 27, 2010 at Woodville Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Mark George, the Rev. Keith Love and the Rev. Tommy Floyd. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Friday at Moody Funeral where she will remain until carried to the Church to lie in-state 30 minutes. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Indian Grove Family Cemetery, c/o Mrs. Norma Bowen, 200 Cook School Road, Pilot Mountain, NC 27041. The family would like to express a special thanks to the staff of Central Continuing Care for their care given to Mrs. Love.
