ALBUQUERQUE - Pearl M. Woods, 72, of Catron Street in Carlsbad, died Friday, Feb. 10, 1995, at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Albuquerque.
Graveside services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Carlsbad Cemetery. John O'Neal of Southside Church of Christ will officiate.
She was born April 6, 1922, in Morehaven, Fla., to W.A. Cooper Sr. and Erna Cooper. She grew up in the Big Bend, Texas, area and graduated from Alpine High School.
She moved to Carlsbad in 1945 where she married James L. Woods on Dec. 21, 1945. They had resided in Carlsbad since that time. She was a member of the Church of Christ and was active in the Art Association and in the Senior Citizen Art Educational Program.
Survivors include her husband; brothers, W.A. Cooper Jr., of Snyder, Texas and Robert Cooper of Houston; sisters Geneva O'Daniels and Elois Clark, both of Albuquerque; and numerous nieces and nephews.
