Rosary Slated for F. N. Riney
A rosary will be said tonight at 7:30 for Frank Nicholson Riney, Sr., 70, in the Jack Schmitz and Sons Chapel. Riney died at 8:50 pm Wednesday at his residence on the Sanger Highway of a heart attack. Hubert Kaszynski will sing the responses at the high requiem mass to be said by Father Walter Bojniewica at 9 am Friday in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery at Pilot Point. A retired farmer, Riney was a resident of the county for 50 years. He was born in LaRue County, Kentucky on March 20, 1880. He was married to Mary Cora Farrell in Pilot Point on September 29, 1901. e is survived by his widow, three daughters, Mrs. Clyde Jones of Dallas, Mrs. M. D. Lewis of Denton and Cora Alice Riney of Denton; seven sons, Boone of Ponder, and Harry, Frank, Jrl, Richard L. and L. D., all of Denton; three brothers, Ed Riney of Pilot Point, Charlie Riney and Joe Riney of Denton; two sisters, Mrs. John Blackwelder and Mrs. Fete England, both of Wichita Falls, 22 grandchildren. - from the Denton Record Chronicle, Friday, January 24, 1930
