ROWLANDS – CLESTER

An announcement of the marriage of Miss Olwyn Rowlands, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Rowlands, of Rt. 5, to Mr. Alexander Clester, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Clester, of Belle Plaine, occurred at Winfield this morning, came as a surprise to the many friends and acquaintances of Mr. and Mrs. Clester.

The ceremony was performed at the parsonage of District Superintendent R.L. George, of Winfield, at 10:30 this morning, the ring ceremony being used. Marvin Rowlands, brother of the bride, Harry Hunt, of Belle Plaine and Miss Belle Brinkley accompanied the bride and groom to Winfield.

Miss Rowlands, who now attends the Wellington High School, has many friends in the school and is widely known in social circles.

Mr. Clester was a student of the Belle Plaine High School for three years and of the Wellington High School for one year, being well known in both places.

Mr. Clester has been presented a fine farm by his father, locate one half mile south of Belle Plaine, and the bride and groom will be at home to their friends on their new farm after February 15. --- Wellingnton News.
