Mrs. Allman Found Dead in Her Home
Mrs. Ruby A Allman, 63, was found dead yesterday afternoon at her home at 1804 1/2 St. Mary's Ave.
According to Chief of Police, Gale V Smith, there was no evidence of foul play.
Born at Palestine, she was a daughter of the late Mark and Bertha Monroe Lockhart. She had been a resident of Parkersburg since 1920, coming here from Wirt county. She was a member of the Baptist Temple.
Survivors include one brother, Harry Lockhart of Palestine; one sister, Mrs. Mabel Morehead of Parkersburg; two nephews and one niece.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl G. Allman, who died in 1963.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Ogdin Funeral Home with the Rev. Elmer Rose and the Rev. Charles Wilkinson officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today.
