pg. 8 Excerpts from the Diary of Mrs. Sarah M. McPherson she writes:
" March 3, 1856. The weather is severe, the snow being twenty inches deep and the thermometer being as low as 26 degrees below zero. She writes of the deaths of Melinda Cline and Lawson Milster, whose funerals were held in the church at the same time. Mr. Munson preached their funeral service."

· Information passed on by word of mouth states that he died from inhaling some sort of
smoke which ruined his lungs and he died shortly after that
