Hamp Austin, 74, Dies in Arkansas
Graveside services were held at Macedonia Cemetery for P H "Hamp" Austin, 74, a retired farmer, who died at the Extended Care Unit at Blytheville, Arkansas after an extended illness. Cobb Funeral Home of Blytheville, Ark., was in charge.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lela Finn Austin, who is also a patient in the Extended Care Unit; two sons, Leon Austin of Port Gibson, Ruble Austin of Blytheville, Ark.; five daughters, Mrs. Lou O'Connell of Wilmington, Calif., Mrs. Walterine Forshee of Fort Worth, Texas, Mrs. Lorene Hardy, Mrs. Jean Grant, and Mrs. Mildred Lott, all of Blytheville, Arkansas, and a brother, Albert Austin of Little Rock, Arkansas.
