Funeral services were held Thursday, April 19, at the Methodist church, for Leo Earl King, 73. Earl was a resident of Big Sandy for the past 52 years. He came to Montana in 1910 and homesteaded on Eight Mile Bench and worked at the Baker ranch with Tom Todd. He ran the Judith stage and carried the mail for four years when roads in that area were only trails. At first he used horses and later a Model T truck. He was united in marriage to Kade B. Delp at Fort Benton on August 4, 1923.
