On October 7, 1933 she married Etril J. Leinbach in Middlebury. They were married a total of 73 years at the time of his passing in November 2006. She is survived by two sons, Keith (Vi) Leinbach, Haven, Kan., and Dale (Edie) Leinbach, Troy, Ohio; four grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Velda Hooley, Sturgis, Mich.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Etril; a son, Glen; two grandsons, Gary Leinbach and Robert Wineland; two brothers, Lester and DJ Pletcher; and a sister, Letha Yoder.

She was a member of the Clinton Frame Mennonite Church.

Growing up she was her father's right hand man driving horses to do field work. She worked at Chase Bag Factory, Goshen, and with her husband purchased Pletcher's Dairy, later known as Middlebury Dairy. When her husband was called and ordained to the Christian Ministry in 1948, they moved to Moorepark, Mich., where they lived 20 years. She taught Sunday School, Bible School and was a music teacher for the Park Community Schools, and also drove school bus for a number of years. She was a busy and gracious hostess using these gifts to assist her husband in their ministry.

When her husband was called to pastor the Valparaiso Mennonite Church she again served as a hostess and began making clothes and doing alterations for other people.

In 1976 they retired from pastoring and moved to Goshen where she and Etril served interim pastorates at Benton Mennonite and Emma Mennonite churches.

In 1997 they moved into Greencroft where she continued to sew for others.

She and Etril were privileged to travel in 47 states and visited 17 foreign countries.

Friends may call 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, at Yoder-Culp Funeral Home.

An 11:00 a.m., memorial service will be held Friday at Clinton Frame Mennonite Church with Pastors Terry Diener and Jeff Mumaw officiating.

A private burial will be held in Clinton Union Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to Hesston College Pastoral Ministries Program or Wilma's great-grandson's tuition for missionary boarding school in West Africa.
