BRISTOL, Va. -- Harold Webster "Webb" Hamilton, age 71, of 2401 Bradley
Street, passed away on Monday, June 2, 2003, at the VA Medical Center.
He was the son of the late W. B. "Bill" and Eula Bellamy Hamilton and was a
lifelong resident of the Bristol area.

He was the former owner and operator of Union Shoe Shop for more than 50 years. He was a member of Hunt Memorial United Methodist Church and was a U.S. Army veteran, serving in the Korean War.

He was a former Pony and Colt League baseball coach for 17 years.

Survivors include: wife of 54 years, Peggy Sapp Hamilton; sons: Jeff
Hamilton and wife Vicky of Bristol Tennessee; and Jerry Hamilton and wife Myra
of Cumming, Ga.;
special granddaughters, Elizabeth Hamilton, Holly Hamilton and
Heather Hamilton;
sister, Faye Herron of Bristol Virginia; brother, Bruce
Hamilton; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. at the VA Cemetery
with Pastor Jack Stevens officiating. Military honors will be presented by the
VFW Patton-Crosswhite Post 6975. There will be no visitation at the funeral
home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hunt Memorial United Methodist
Church, 524 Harmeling St., Bristol, Va. Online condolences may be registered at
