She had been a lifelong resident of this state, born January 21, 1844, being past ninety years of age at the time of her death, and had spent the greater part of her life in the Ten Mile neighborhood, northwest of this city.
She had made her home with her only son, Charles Griffin, and wife, where she was tenderly cared for.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at Ten Mile Baptist church where she had been a faithful member. the services were conducted by Rev. Lee Wolverton at 2:30 and burial was made at the cemetery there.
