Son of Adomas Dulkis and Ona "Anna" Siniauskaitė born in Ginakiemis, Lithuania, Imperial Russia. One of three brothers (Andrew, Joseph and John) that moved to the United States and took work at the Boott Mills in Lowell. His brother Andrew, is buried on Cape Cod, his other brother Joseph, is buried at St. Patrick's in Lowell, MA.
John Dulke married his first wife, Leonoria Kavalauskas in 1909 in Lowell. They moved to Norwood, MA and had a house built there at 17 Tremont Street. They had four children, three of whom are buried here, and the fourth, Bronas or Brownie Dulkis, is buried at Glenwood Cemetery in Everett, MA.
His first wife sometimes used the name Levorse, or Levorse, but her marriage records denote her name as "Leonorija" - likely a transliteration from Russian or Polish. His first wife died in 1929 of Cancer. John Dulke married his wife's sister, Antonina Kavaliauskas Sienkiewicz, whom had been widowed 4 years earlier. She, and her sons from her own first marriage, are also buried in Highland Cemetery.
John's brothers and sisters, who came from Lithuania in the 1900s, can also be found here:
Antonina 'Antose' Dulke Kazlauskas
Missing among the siblings is Eva (Dulke) Kantakevicius, married in Lowell, MA but alleged to have returned to Lithuania in the 19-teens.
