Mary Jean Slack:
My dad's [ Middleton Joseph Slack] daughters that died in the 1917 flu epidemic were Nettie and Virginia. He also had a sister named Nettie who married Eugene Wise and lived in Kentucky. I don't know how long she lived, but I did know her when I was growing up, but just didn't see much of them with us being in Joliet. She was the mother of Dick and Libby Wise who did spend some time with us in summertime, and Dick actually lived with us for one year of high school and went to Catholic High in Joliet. He was about 3 years older than me I think. I can't find her age but she was probably the one that lived to 99.
