ENOS LOVELL aged about 85, died last week at his home near Vadis. He was one of the pioneer settlers in that part of the county. He was the father of R. E. L. J. Lovell. Remains interred on Friday.
Enos' parents Joshua Lovell and Rebecca Shewman Lovell.
Elizabeth Jane Sleeth, born December 30, 1826, died age 42 yrs 6 mos of consumption was the daughter of Henry W. and Mary (Wyant) Sleeth. She married Enos Lovell on November 16, 1843. Enos was born August 4, 1820, in Pennsylvania.He died September 18, 1902, at Vadis, Lewis county, WV. Elizabeth died May 27, 1869. Both are buried at the Carder cemetery on Fink's Creek.
