A native of Haywood County, he had resided in Buncombe County for the past 26 years and was the son of Lela Vick Breedlove of Candler and the late Ralph Samuel Breedlove. He retired from Champion International with 33 years of service, was a Champion OldTimer and a United States Navy veteran. He was a member of Candler Church of God. Mr. Breedlove deeply cared for his family and his loving memory shall be cherished forever by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Kenneth Breedlove.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his daughter, Joy Breedlove Jenkins and her husband, Tim, of Hendersonville; son, Don Breedlove of Candler; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Crawford/Ray Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Canton with the Rev. Ron Towe officiating.
Burial will be in Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens, Clyde.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
