"EAST - JOHN LEE, age 61, of 1312 Adona Lane, Chattanooga, passed away late Thursday evening at Erlanger Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Violet East of Chattanooga; one daughter, Mrs. Eugene Laughlin of Chattanooga; one son, James East of Kingston, Tenn., three sisters, Mrs. Mamie Frederickson, Mrs. William D. Teter and Miss Elizabeth East, all of Rockwood; one brother, Tom East of Rockwood. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday from the chapel of Booth Funeral Home, Rockwood, Tenn. Rev. Ruppert Smith officiating. Interment in Oak Grove Cemetery. Booth Funeral Home in charge."
