Houchen, Vincent M.
Funeral services for Vincent M. Houchen, 57, were held from the Vail Funeral Home Sunday afternoon and the body was taken to the Independence Cemetery at Sandyville for burial. Mr. Houchen, who had been ill for some time, died at his home here last Friday evening. Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Martha Ellen Houchen of Parkersburg; his wife, Mrs. Rose Ellen Houchen; five children, Chester of Ripley, George of Smithsville, Clifford of Charleston, Mrs. Elizabeth Ferguson of Littleton, and Mrs. Opan Clark of Belpre, Ohio; one sister, Mrs. Orena Conner of Parkersburg; four brothers, C. C. Houchen of Williamstown, Earl Houchen of Parkersburg, Otis Houchen of Vincent, Ohio and Corbitt Houchen of Ripley, and four grandchildren. (Betty Kessel McIntyre obit collection)
