Kathryn Lacy Keane, beloved wife, mother and friend, was born in Longview, Texas, on October 7, 1920, to Thomas Edwin and Kate Womack Lacy. She died on November 18, 2010 after a brief illness. She attended Randolph Macon College and graduated from The University of Texas. Kathryn was a member of Highland Park Presbyterian Church, Dallas Woman's Club, Craig Class, Dallas Shakespeare Club and Dallas Browning Club. She is delighted to leave to her granddaughters what she termed "The Triple Crown": Daughter of The American Revolution, Daughter of The Confederacy and Daughter of The Republic of Texas. She is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years, Roger Joseph Keane; her sons and their families, Dr. William Keane and his wife Ann, their children Roger II and Mary Kathryn of Columbia, SC, Dr. John Keane and his wife Grettel, his children Nora and Daniel Keane and step-daughters Arlen and Indira Carballo of Phoenix, AZ, Gary Keane and his wife Patricia, their children Thomas and Emily Lynn, of Dallas, TX; her dear sister Elizabeth Lacy Bond and daughters Louise and Kathryn; her brother John Lacy and sister-in-law Virginia Lacy preceded her in death, their children, Susan Sinclair and Robert Perkins survive them. A graveside service will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park at 2:00 p.m., Monday, November 22, 2010, Dr. Woody Strodel officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be sent to The Presbyterian Children's Home or a charity of one's choice.
