GRASSFLAT - Mrs. Eva Curley, wife of Willard Curley, died at her home in Grassflat on Wednesday, October 3, as a result of a heart condition.
The daughter of Alfred and Agnes Smeal Emigh of Center Hill, Morrisdale, R. D., she was born on July 20, 1899. Mrs. Curley was a member of the Grassflat United Brethren Church.
The deceased is survived by her parents, her husband, one daughter, Mrs. Bernice Modzel of Grassflat, a grandson, two brothers, Raymond Emigh of Wallaceton and Arthur Emigh of Allport, and two sisters, Mrs. Verda Knepp of Wallaceton and Mrs. Vada Martin of Bellefonte.
Funeral services will be held form the Messiah Baptist Church near Kylertown Saturday afternoon, October 6, at 2 o'clock. The body will lie in state at the Curley home until 12 o'clock, when it will be removed to the church. Rev. Budd R. Smith of the U. B. Church in Philipsburg and Rev. Maurice Korb of the Messiah Baptist Church will officiate at the services. Interment will be made in the adjoining church cemetery.
