November 7, 1918 MOTHER AND TWO CHILDREN DIE OF INFLUENZA Two of the children of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Parks died last week from pneumonia. A girl, 7 years of age, died Saturday morning and Sunday at 10:00 a.m. a little boy, 3 years of age succombed to the fatal malady. The mother and father were also sick with the influenza at the same time. The little ones were laid to rest at Mt. Hope Cemetery Sunday. In their sad affliction the parents have the sympathy of the entire community. Later-Since writing the above, the mother of the children has succumbed to the fatal malady, having passed away Monday night at 12 o'clock. The remains were laid to rest Tuesday afternoon. To the grief stricken father the deep sympathy of the entire community is extended.
