Stewart Bay "Smokey" Falcon Sr, husband of the late Cecile "Sis" Weber Falcon, died Thursday 25 Jan 2007 at his residence in Baton Rouge. He was 93 years old and a retired pipefitter from Copolymer Rubber and Chemical Plant. He was also a member of Plumbers & Steamfitters Local 198 and Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his father, Milton John Falcon; mother, Gussie Grouville Falcon; sister, Lula Falcon Koenig; and a brother, John Milton Falcon. He was an avid fisherman and gardener. He is survived by a sister, Edna Falcon McCrory; brother-in-law, Eldred McCrory; two brothers, Louis Falcon and Joseph Falcon; sister-in-law, Olga Falcon; his children, Stewart Bay "Smokey" Falcon Jr, Esther Falcon Truschke and Brenda Falcon Lollar; also five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Services were Monday 29 Jan 2007, conducted by Deacon Richard Grant, with interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
