She was born in Foot of Ten, daughter of the late Arthur and Anna (Yanson) Keckler. She was twice married, first to Lawrence J. Kline and then to Marion D. Long. Both husbands preceded her in death.
Surviving are four daughters: Christine Kline of Ebensburg, Dorothy Snyder and husband, Tom, of Duncansville, Sharon Yeckley and husband, David, of Duncansville and Gloria Jones and husband, Tom, of Media; four sons: Lawrence Kline and wife, Linda, of Greshen, Ore., Mike Kline of Lebanon, Ore., and Paul Long and wife, Becky, and Brian Long and wife, Lori, all of Hollidaysburg; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Shirley Thompson of Cowiche, Wash.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah J. (Kline) Corl; a sister, Betty Conner; and a brother, Arthur L. Keckler, Jr.
Mrs. Long was a 1946 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. She retired from J.C. Penney as a sales clerk.
She was a member of Hicks Memorial United Methodist Church, Duncansville, and also attended Foot of Ten Independent Bible Church and was a member of XYZ Senior Group.
Aldine enjoyed her family, gardening, especially flowers, and her pet dog, Sascha.
Friends will be received from 3 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 23, 2010, at Sorge Funeral Home, Hollidaysburg. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home by Pastor David L. Huston.
Interment will be at Carson Valley Cemetery.
