He is preceded in death by his parents, Harley Levi Borchert and Mary Gauthier Borchert; step-daughter, Dorothy Phillips; sons, Troy Borchert and Marsdon Borchert, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Borchert of New Llano, LA; 4 daughters, Linda Leet of Jacksonville, FL; Ann Bell of Camden, TN; Peggy Sito of Savannah, GA and Jean Zschoche; 5 stepchildren, Lois Poston and husband Morris of New Llano, LA; Jerry Beason and wife Claire of Winnfield, LA; Delida Adams of Sheperd, TX; Martha Solice and husband Mike of Robeline, LA and Johnny Beason and wife Sherry of Sheperd, TX along with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services were at 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at Rocky Mount Congregational Methodist Church in Robeline, LA., Bro. Lloyd Homer Keel officiating. Interment followed in the Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Mike Solice, Jr., Matthew Solice, Jeff Leone, Reginald Booth, Sr., Reginald Booth, Jr. and Dakota Sanders.
