"Charles M. Lock of Loose Creek, who has been connected with his brother, Henry in the operation of the well known Lock flour mills of Loose Creek for many years, was instantly killed Sunday (29 Sept. 1935) night while walking on Highway 50 near Mead's Cafe at Loose Creek, by a passing motorist. Charles was born at Loose Creek Sept. 26, 1884 and at the time of his death was 51 years and 3 days of age. He spent his entire life in the Loose Creek community."
