Born July 14, 1897, in Sheboygan, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Meta Ahrens Grashorn. She was a graduate of Sheboygan High School and the Milwaukee Hospital School of Nursing Education.
Miss Grashorn had been employed as a nurse at Sheboygan Memorial and St. Nicholas Hospitals, retiring from the latter in 1962. She was chairman of the Elkhart Lake Library Board; a member of the Elkhart Lake Study Club and Elkhart Lake Historical Society. She was a former member of the Eastern Star of Sheboygan and Sheboygan Nurses Association.
There are no immediate survivors. A brother and sister preceded her in death.
Private memorial services will be held Friday at II a.m. at Ballhorn Funeral Chapels, the Rev. Robert Johnston, pastor of community UCC of Elkhart Lake, officiating.
