Polly married William King Thompson (1804-1850) on June 19, 1824 and had daughter Jane Thompson Canterbury, who was born in 1827, died in 1876 in Kansas. Jane married John Canterbury, who is buried in Ashland Cemetery in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Died at age 82 years old in Indian Creek, Monroe County, Virginia.
