In 1938, Betsy married the love of her life W.B. "Silver" Harley, and moved to Wichita Falls, where they spent the rest of their married life.
They had two daughters, Maxie Kay Harley Gattis and Becky Ann Harley Dewey.
In addition to raising their daughters and managing their home, she loved playing bridge with her multiple bridge clubs, and hosting and attending parties with her many close friends. Betsy always had a smile on her face and a compliment to give. Betsy's greatest joy came from her close relationship to her children and grandchildren, by whom she was greatly loved. She will always be remembered as a kind, generous, caring woman by her family and friends.
