Wayne William Culver, son of George & Edith (Raida) Culver, was born July 18, 1934 at Anthony, KS. He passed away Saturday, September 13, 2008 at the Attica Long Term Care Facility in Attica at the age of 74.
He was united in marriage to Lillian Shumaker, they later divorced.
"Wimpy," as he was known to family and friends, worked for Boeing in Wichita, KS, Elco at Harper and later worked for the Harper County Road & Bridge Dept. until retirement.
In earlier years, he enjoyed fishing and hunting, particularly coon hunting.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George & Edith Culver and two brothers: Jerry and Kenton Culver.
He is survived by one son, Carl Culver and one daughter, Christine Smith, both of Seminole, OK; a sister, Georgianna Mason of Wichita and one brother, Bobby Culver and his wife, Linda, of Harper; three grandchildren; one great granddaughter; many nieces, nephews, and many other relatives.
