LeRoy was raised in Foster, MO and attended school in Foster and Rich Hill. He served in the U. S. Army during the Vietnam Era in an Engineer Battalion helping to build roads. LeRoy spent over 40 years as a self-employed truck driver until his retirement in 2004. He was a member of the Nevada Eagles Lodge.
Survivors in addition to his wife Sylvia include seven children: Vera Conwell and her husband Greg, Walker, MO; Nadine Helfer and her husband Wayne, Butler, MO; Roxy Sage and her husband Kevin, Archie MO; Tim Whitworth, Nevada, MO; Daniel Whitworth and his wife Christy, Moundville, MO; Melissa Vandenburg and her husband David, St. Louis, MO; and Lisa Julian and her husband Caleb, Nevada, MO; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; brothers, Clyde Keith, Lowry City, NV, Ervin Keith, El Dorado Springs, MO, Fred Bishop, Nevada, MO, James Bishop, Joplin, MO, Kenneth Bishop, Woodburn, OR; sisters Freida Burrows, Muskogee, OK, and Nancy Dirks, Alba, MO; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Frank Keith, and one sister Mary Bishop.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada, MO, with Rev. Chad Bailey officiating.
Interment will follow at Salem Cemetery in Foster, MO. Friends may call now and until the hour of service at the funeral home.

I don't know if you are related, but Clyde was my dad's 1st cousin, so he is my 1st cousin one time removed.
