Thomas Jackson, died Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock at his home in Charlotte township. He was born in Pike county, Mo., Sept. 3, 1837. He came to this county about a year ago with his family from St. Clair county. The deceased was 73 years, 7 months and 19 days old. A wife and 5 children, four boys and one girl, survive him. Funeral services were held at the family residence Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Clapp. Burial in Adam Howell cemetery.
