Henry F. Cooper, Former Resident, Dies At Capital- Henry F. Cooper, a former resident of Crawfordsville and Hillsboro, died Friday morning at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, where he had been a patient for a week. He was 81. He was retired from the insurance business, and occupation which he had followed in Crawfordsville and Indianapolis. Mr. Cooper was born near Hillsboro and was the son of Miles and Lilly Nicholson Cooper. He married Nina Osborn of Covington, and the couple observed their 50th wedding anniversary recently. Survivors include the widow; one son, Paul Cooper of Indianapolis; two brothers, Marion R. Cooper of Hillsboro and Shirley Cooper of Indianapolis; and two sisters, Mrs. Katie Stuart of Muncie and Miss Mary Cooper, a missionary in Africa. Mr. Cooper was preceded in death by two sons. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Shirley Brothers Funeral Home, 946 N. Illinois St., Indianapolis, with burial to follow in Oak Hill Cemetery here. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday afternoon.
