Mrs. Annie Elizabeth Campbell, 74, of1300 North Ave., died at 9:20 a.m. Wednesday at the District Home.
Born June 8, 1898 in Augusta County, she was a daughter of the late Samuel J. and Leah Esherman Parrett.
She was a member of the Springdale Mennonite Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Oresta (Vernel) Buell Campbell, on May 16, 1965.
She is survived by four sons, Enos R. Campbell, Clyde S. Campbell, William L. Campbell, and Thomas P. Campbell, all of Waynesboro; three daughters, Mrs. Ruby E. Rowe, Mrs. Shirley A. Fisher and Mrs. Annie M. Young, all of Waynesboro; 21 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of the Etter Funeral Home, conducted by the Rev. Roy Kiser with burial in Augusta Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 7:30 Thursday night at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Thomas Fisher, Guy Reed, Charles Stuples, Dicky Painter, Charles Painter, Marvin Slusher, Charles Young and Kenny Frazier.
Honorary pallbearers will be W. David Henderson, Arron Henderson, Nickolas Henderson, Hershel Bridge, Jess Bridge, Reginald Bridge, Howard Bridge, Alva Showalter, Justus Driver, Norman Kiser, Brenard Campbell and Marvin Henderson.
