JAMES WILSON ALBRIGHT
Well known Roaring Spring young man, died at 2.50 a.m. July 4, at the home of his brother Robert Albright, 500 Sugar street, Roaring Spring, of a complication of diseases following an illness that extended over a period of four years. Born in Roaring Spring on Aug. 16, 1888, he was a son of David, deceased, and Rheu Anna Albright. His entire life was spent in Roaring Spring and prior to his illness he was employed in a clerical capacity by the Pennsy at the Roaring Spring station, his service with the railroad company dating from 1905. He was a faithful member of the Roaring Spring Methodist church and was a valued member of the church choir and the Bible class taught by Ivan E. Garver. He was also very active in lodge circles and was affiliated with the Modern Woodmen, Model lodge No. 856, I.O.O.F., John T. Noble encampment, Pennsy relief and Winona lodge of Rebekahs. He was connected with the Roaring Spring Glee club prior to his serious illness. He was married to Miss Irma Pressel of Roaring Spring in 1910. Mrs. Albright, one daughter, Miss Dorothy, his mother, two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Moore and Miss Otta Hudson, and three brothers, Ralph of Hollidaysburg and Robert and Silas of Roaring Spring surviving him. The funeral will be held on Friday morning at 10 o'clock, with services in the Methodist church, in charge of the pastor, Rev. George A. Duvall. Interment will be made in Greenlawn cemetery.
