TO HOLD SERVICES SUNDAY FOR CLARENCE ADAMS

Funeral services for Clarence Adams will be held in Delta on Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. in the Second Ward chapel, under the direction of Bishop Warren Henderson. Clarence Adams died in Salt Lake City Wednesday morning about 9 o'clock of a rheumatic heart disease. He was twenty-one years old, and was born in Delta, April 12, 1920, a son of Alexander and Martha Cameron Adams. Clarence was a student at the University of Utah, where he was in his third year and was majoring in accounting. He was a graduate of the Delta High School and an excellent scholar and also at the University. He had been ill for the past two weeks and his father had been in Salt Lake City with him for several visits. Mr. Adams had returned to Delta Tuesday and word came Wednesday of his son's death. He is survived by his parents, and three brothers, Nathan C. Adams and William Frank Adams, both with the U.S. armed forces and John Adams of Delta and four sisters, Miss Mary Adams of Salt Lake City and Georgeanna, Martha Mae and Geneveve Adams, all of Delta. The deepest sympathy of their many friends here is extended to Mr. and Mrs. Adams in the loss of their son.
